Making the lives of our clients and providers easier through inclusive technology, we’ve been awarded second place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for 2020 – a business awards program that ranks fast-growing technology companies.

Our clients are at the core of everything we do here at MPM, and we’re excited to be recognised for the great experience we’re delivering.

We’ve also won the Technology Female Leadership Award for the highest-ranked company on the list with a female founder or CEO: My Plan Manager has both.

As one of the first-NDIS plan managers in the country, MPM has seen rapid growth since we were first established around the kitchen table of founder Claire Wittwer-Smith six years ago. Claire’s vision saw the company go from strength to strength particularly in technology, creating the sector’s first app for tracking NDIS budgets.

“For me, it was always about pursuing an inclusive world which values diversity,” said Wittwer Smith.

“As well as helping clients to use their NDIS funding to live their very best lives, I wanted to offer the same technology that we all use in managing our personal banking, so that clients could access their NDIS budget the same way.”

Our strong technology focus saw us grow during the COVID-19 pandemic as we were able to provide consistent customer service to both our clients and providers without any disruption.

CEO Jane Kittel said our innovation allowed us to process invoices faster and look at ways to better protect our clients particularly our most vulnerable clients.

“Our streamlined bill payment processes and budget tracking are key, but we’re also using technology for preventing fraudulent claims, and safeguarding our potentially vulnerable clients: our system alerts us when there are anomalies in client behaviour – such as claiming irregularity – so we know to give them a call and make sure everything’s ok.”

“Ultimately, we’re working towards an Australia where everyone has the right to live an independent life and contribute to social and economic outcomes.”
