Independent Assessments

Two women having a signed conversation.

You may have been hearing a lot lately about the NDIA’s new proposed Independent Assessments

The proposal means NDIA-appointed healthcare professionals would assess participants using NDIA standards.

At this stage, the NDIA is planning on including independent assessments as part of the planning review process from mid-2021.

In order to prepare for this, the NDIA is trialling independent assessments for a select group of participants who choose to take part.

It’s still early days, so we’re keen to learn more about independent assessments and what they will mean for MPM’s clients. For that reason, if you have had any experiences with the independent assessment process that your happy to share, we’d love to hear from you.

If you need more information about independent assessments you can find it on the NDIA’s website.
