What’s My Plan Manager?

There’s no doubt about it, the NDIS is a complex beast, and managing your funding (on top of everything else!) can be exhausting. That’s where My Plan Manager comes in.

Established in 2014, we were the first in the market to do what we do – support people with disability to get the most out of their NDIS plans – and today, we’re the largest and most experienced provider in the country.

With a background in special education and disability policy, our founder – Claire Wittwer-Smith – developed the idea for My Plan Manager around her kitchen table, while working at the National Disability Insurance Agency.

How do I get started with NDIS plan management?

There are three options for managing your NDIS funding – you can choose to have it managed by the NDIA (Agency managed), you can self manage, or you can ask for additional funding for plan management services. You can also choose more than one option and take different approaches to different parts of your NDIS plan.

Think plan management is right for you? There’s no cost involved – all you need to do is ask!

If you don’t have funding for plan management included in your NDIS plan (known as ‘Improved Life Choices’ funding), you just need to let NDIS staff know you’d like a plan manager to support you, and they’ll take it from there.

Getting set up as a My Plan Manager client

Once you’ve got your Improved Life Choices funding in place, you’re ready to start enjoying the benefits of plan management – and life as a My Plan Manager client.
