Finding the NDIS a little confusing? Got a plan, but not sure where to turn for support? Help is just one click away!

A man reading off a stack of paper at a table.

By now youโ€™re probably aware that the NDIS can be complex and time-consuming to navigate โ€“ and sometimes, no matter how long youโ€™ve been around it, itโ€™s difficult to understand as well.

While this can be true for even the most experienced amongst us, at My Plan Manager โ€“ your NDIS un-complicator โ€“ we focus on making your journey through the Scheme easier, so you can focus on achieving the outcomes youโ€™re after.

Time and again we hear from participants who are struggling to understand how to get bang for their NDIS buck and feeling unsure about where to find providers who can support them to develop the skills they need to manage their funding and their supports.

In many ways, everyoneโ€™s the same: we all want to make every dollar count so we can achieve our goals and enjoy our lives.

Thatโ€™s where Kinora comes in!

Whatโ€™s Kinora?

An online community created by My Plan Manager, Kinora helps people with disability and their supporters connect with peers, NDIS experts, disability sector professionals, and service providers, assisting them to build lasting connections with the people and businesses who can support them throughout their lives.

Want to know more?

When you first get started in the NDIS, lots of new information comes your way, and that takes time to unpack. It can take months (or even years!) to work out the right places to spend your funding and to gather inside knowledge and tips, like:

  • engaging support workers on weekends costs more than it does on weekdays
  • an allied health assistant can provide supports under the guidance of an allied health professional for a much lower cost
  • a cleaner, equipment repairs, assistive technology, or even a meal delivery service might be able to be funded through the NDIS
  • cancelling supports and services at short notice can be costly

And thatโ€™s just for starters!

As the saying goes, โ€˜you donโ€™t know what you donโ€™t knowโ€™, and we want to make sure youโ€™re not missing vital information and supports.

Again, thatโ€™s where Kinora comes in!

How can Kinora help?

Kinora has a wide and varied community of people you can engage with and learn from โ€“ everyday people, Kinora coaches, and disability professionals who all have terrific experience that can help you to upskill so you can manage the juggle between your life and the NDIS.

Whether youโ€™re at the start of your NDIS journey or several years in, thereโ€™s something for everyone in Kinora and lots of support to be found.

And the best part isโ€ฆ it doesnโ€™t cost anything.
